Port Adelaide chairman David Koch unveiled the campaign during his first pre-match function on Saturday night, ahead of the Power’s opening home game of the 2013 season.

“Port Adelaide people have been fantastic in embracing the new era at their club, with membership surging past 35,000 this week on the back of our Round 1 win,” Mr Koch said.

“But we have got a lot of work to do and we are determined to get to 40,000 for the first time in our history, and when we do we are going to reward one lucky member in a big way.

“It’s a simple challenge with a fantastic incentive and every adult member who has already signed up or signs up now has a chance to win a great prize thanks to Renault.”

The Drive to 40,000...there are no limits – Powered by Renault challenge will see a Renault Megane valued at $25,790 given to one adult member present at Port Adelaide’s Round 14 clash with Collingwood at 4.10pm on Saturday 29 June. The prize will only be awarded if the club reaches 40,000 memberships in all categories combined, including juniors and Planet Teal.

“If we don’t get to 40,000 members, we won’t be giving away the car,” Mr Koch said.

“But I have no doubt we can get there if we all pull together and commit to the club as it continues on what is going to be a really exciting journey.

“Members are the heart and soul of the Port Adelaide Football Club and the more of them we have, the stronger we are.

“Any Port Adelaide supporter who hasn’t signed up needs to do so, and those who already have need to help us recruit more members to make sure they’re all in with a chance of winning the fabulous Renault.”
