HERALD SUN journalist Mark Robinson has named Chad Wingard in his All-Australian team after 16 rounds.

Robinson named Wingard on a half-forward flank in a forward six that includes superstars like Cloke, Johnson and Roughead.

Wingard, 19, has taken his game to another level in 2013 booting 27 goals and averaging more than 21 possessions as a forward who rotates through the midfield.

His consistency has been staggering for a teenager, being held goal-less just once this year - in Round 9 against the Cats, when he booted 0.3 and had 26 touches.

Port Adelaide supporters agree with Robinson, having voted Wingard into a clear lead in the Official Supporters' Player of the Year Award.

Robinson didn't name an All-Australian coach, but said it was out of James Hird or Ken Hinkley.

"Coach of the year at this stage?" Robinson wrote. "Toss up between James Hird and Ken Hinkley. If it was only about exceeding expectation, would have to go Hinkley."
