A BIG crowd is expected at the first home game of the season this Saturday, with Port Adelaide taking on 2014 grand finalists Sydney Swans in a blockbuster clash at Adelaide Oval.
The game isn’t sold out yet – there’s still general admission tickets and some premium reserved seats available. Make sure you hit the Ticketek website to pre-buy your ticket to avoid disappointment at the gate.
The day is absolutely jam-packed, with plenty going on before and after the game including a number of new, exciting additions to the 2015 gameday experience. Let’s just say this will be one to remember!

4:20pm – Curtain raiser – City v Country SANFL
4.30pm – March from the Mall Launch @ Rundle Mall begins

Gameday partner – EnergyAustralia
Official gameday partner and joint major partner Energy Australia will be out and about on Saturday night, powering up the boys and Port Adelaide supporters for the first home game of the season!
They’ll be handing out hundreds of LED-lit thunder sticks before the first bounce – make sure you grab one. They’ll also be hosting two awesome games in the southern plaza; the Energy Australia Power Kick and Power Hit. You can kick or hit the inflatable measure and see just how powerful you really are!
Energy Australia will be officially powering the team entry, with some exciting surprises in store.
Tickets
There are still daily general admission tickets available to the game this Saturday, as well as some premium reserved seats.
It’s best to pre-buy - head to Ticketek to secure your ticket and avoid disappointment.

March from the Mall
One of Port Adelaide’s biggest home-game traditions, the March from the Mall, is back in 2015 with the promise of a bigger and better, jam-packed lineup.
An official launch party featuring local band At Sunset will be held in Rundle Mall from 4.30pm, with the march to depart at 5.50pm from the corner of Rundle Mall and Gawler Place.

Power Playground
We’re taking over the Eastern Plaza of Adelaide Oval to bring you the biggest and best pre-game kidzone in the AFL!
Kicking off at 5:30pm, the Power Playground be a wonderland of black, white and teal featuring kids’ entertainment, games, fun activities and giveaways.
There will be a live children’s show, inflatables, mascots, face painting, hairspray, photobooths, a message wall, plus more.

Gameday Village
Another new addition to the game experience for Port Adelaide Supporters is Gameday Village. A completely revamped version of last year’s White Marquee Bar; this year’s bar, is twice the size and will again live on the doorstep of Adelaide Oval - with some exciting new additions.
A relaxed vibe with smooth tunes, $5 beers and food trucks, Gameday Village will be the place to be both pre and post-game.

What’s happening around the ground?
- EnergyAustralia (Southern Plaza) – Come and play the EnergyAustralia Power Kick and Power Hit games and grab a free EnergyAustralia LED-lit thunder stick before the game starts!
- Renault Zone (Southern Plaza) – Come along to the Renault zone for free tattoos, see the premiership cup and to check out the exciting Renault Range.
- Keep a lookout for the GIANT hashtag around the grounds. Take a photo with the hashtag and upload it to Instagram for your chance to appear on the big screen during the game.
- Power Playground (Eastern Plaza) – Get your face painted and hair sprayed in Port Adelaide colours, meet team mascot Thunder and Pirateers Jack & Daisy, watch a live children’s show, leave a message for your favourite player and maybe even meet one!
- Port Adelaide’s official charity partner, Foodbank, will be holding a Vegemite drive on the day. If you can, bring a jar of Vegemite with you to the oval and drop it off at the Foodbank stand in the Southern Plaza – you’ll be helping people in need.

Road Closures
- War Memorial Drive West - closed 3 hours before game starts and re-opened 2 hours after the game has finished
- War Memorial Drive (between King William Street and Pedestrian Foot Bridge) - closed 3 hours before the game starts and re-opened 2 hours after the game has finished
- King William Road closed (between North Terrace and War Memorial Drive) - 2 hours after the game has started until an hour and a half after the game has finished
- Victoria Drive (between KWR and Kintore Ave) - closed 2 hours after the game has started until an hour and a half after the game has finished
- Pennington Terrace, closed 2 hours after the game has started until an hour and a half after the game has finished
Transport
Public transport including trains, trams and buses will be free on gameday for supporters with a membership card or game day ticket.

Parking
There is very limited parking available at Adelaide Oval. The club has, however, partnered with UPark to offer members a season pass at any of UPark’s city locations (Topham Mall or Wyatt Street) for just $99. Click here to take up the offer.
General admission members
General admission members including 3-game, 11-game GA, country and interstate have access to this match, even if the game sells out.
General admission memberships are, however, subject to capacity on the night. A minimum number of seats and standing room positions are always held for general admission members, but should this number be reached, no further general admission members will be able to enter the ground.
The club recommends general admission members arrive early to avoid disappointment.
