KEN HINKLEY believes Jackson Trengove will miss a "significant period of time" and has gone to hospital for scans to his ankle. 

Trengove was visibly stricken early in the fourth quarter as he was forced to defend Richmond and manage his injured ankle. 

Aided from the field, he was later taken to hospital for scans.

"We don't know the extent of the injury at this stage," Power head of high performance Darren Burgess said after the game. 

"We've had to send him to hospital for scans though, but we could have an update as early as tomorrow." 

No other injuries were reported from the game.
