NO injuries were reported from Port Adelaide’s weekend matches, with four players to undergo fitness assessments at training this week.
Tom Jonas will again be assessed for a quad injury, while Jasper Pittard (ankle), Matt White (hamstring) and Billy Frampton (hamstring) will be reviewed by the Power’s high performance staff.
Frampton was a late withdrawal from Saturday’s win over Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL.
Port Adelaide’s head of high performance Darren Burgess says his team will be careful with bringing players back into the action.
“We’ll be careful with Billy this week, he may miss another game if we’re not fully satisfied with how he trains,” Burgess said.
“Jonas and White are close and we’ll see how they get through this week, they’ve had a good period off and Whitey’s rehab has tracked really well.”
Alipate Carlile is still up to a fortnight away from returning, while Mason Shaw will be back within the next three weeks.
