SATURDAY’S clash against the Power could see vice-captain Jordan Roughead return from injury to bolster the Dogs’ side.
The key defender was a late withdrawal against Collingwood in Round 17 with a foot complaint and has since faced two weeks on the sidelines.
Bulldogs’ GM of football Graham Lowe explained they wanted to manage him conservatively to make sure he was fit for the back end of the season.
“Jordan was touch-and-go over the weekend so he’s getting close to getting back,” Lowe said on Tuesday.
“He needs to get through training this week with the view to make himself available to be selected, which is really good for him.”
Roughead will undergo testing to prove his fitness to play against the Power.
