THE AFL has finalised its Round 23 fixture with the Power to host Fremantle in a 3:20pm game on Saturday 5 September.
It allows the currently top-ranked Fremantle time to return to Perth for preparation for the first week of finals.
Port Adelaide remains in calculations for finals currently, with the final five games of the season to determine whether it makes the top eight.
If the Power wins its next four games, the Saturday afternoon fixture could be a genuine blockbuster, with Port potentially needing to beat the likely minor premiers for a place in the finals.
Other games scheduled for the round include Richmond and North Melbourne play off at the MCG on Friday night.
