THE Suns could regain the services of key forward Charlie Dixon ahead of their clash with the Power this Saturday at Metricon Stadium.
The key forward is making good progress coming back from an ankle injury suffered in Round 20.
He’s started running, and if able to complete training this week, he’ll be available for selection this Saturday.
Meanwhile senior Adam Saad played his final game for the year, after an ongoing groin injury flared up following the Sun’s win over Essendon last week.
Head physio Adam Russell said it’s best that he sit out the rest of the year.
“That groin injury that he’s been carrying for the second half of the season has just become a little bit too much and he’s been pulling up worse each week,” he said.
Swingman Sam Day has pulled up fine after being stretchered off in a neck brace following a serious collision in the third term with Bomber Mark Baguley.
Scans came back clear and he’s expected to take the field again on Saturday.
Enemy lines: Dixon, Day expected to play
