THERE have been some whispers around Alberton that Chad Wingad might not actually be stranded in Bali, as it may seem...

The star forward was supposed to return for preseason training on Monday, but has been “stuck” in Bali due to volcanic ash cloud which has left hundreds of flights grounded in Bali.

Hammer told Louie and Jars his theory on the situation on Wednesday afternoon.



…and promptly shared his thoughts with Chad on twitter!



Bobby Carlile chimed in on the situation too.

“He’s till sunning himself in Bali with Schulzy at the moment – I reckon they’re pretty happy with the ash cloud over there,” he told portadelaidefc.com.au.

But while some teammates are poking fun at him, Wings assures us he’s not just living it up by the pool - apparently he’s been working hard, keeping up with preseason training overseas. Girlfriend Georgie, a personal trainer, has been whipping him into gear!



Let’s hope his flights don’t get cancelled again at the end of this week!
