PORT ADELAIDE’S first trial game for 2016 has been locked away, with the Magpies to play an exhibition game against the Central Australian Football Club in late February.
The game to be played at Alberton Oval between the Magpies and Alice Springs-based ‘Redtails’, is an opportunity to maintain Port Adelaide’s strong tie to the top end.
The Redtails played a match against local club Edwardstown at Alberton earlier in 2015.0
It is likely that Port will select players from both its League and Academy lists, while the Redtails will bring a crew consisting of current NTFL players down for an exhibition game.
The match will be played at Alberton on 21 February 2016.
