SUMMARY
Footy's back, and the Power will take on the Swans in a friendly NAB Challenge encounter at Blacktown International Sportspark on Saturday afternoon. For Port, the game will be a test of its new players - four of whom have never played at AFL level before. The Swans, by contrast, will use the chance to trial some new strategies, players in positions and return some of their experienced players to the fold.

LAST FOUR TIMES IN PRE-SEASON GAMES
2013, Port Adelaide 15.12 (102) d Sydney Swans 10.12 (72) at AAMI Stadium

THE SIX POINTS
1. Port Adelaide has named five new players this weekend to play the Swans, while a number of first-choice players will remain in Adelaide.

2. While the Swans dominate Port Adelaide in regular season, the Power is undefeated in pre-season hit outs. The two sides have played four matches between them.

3. Cam Hewett might well played against his brother George Hewett during the game if the final cuts of both teams fall into place.

4. This is Port Adelaide's first game in Blacktown.

5. With Travis Boak, Brad Ebert, Matt Lobbe and Hamish Hartlett all out of the side, the captaincy of the Power will fall to any of the remaining leadership players in Tom Jonas, Jackson Trengove or Ollie Wines.

6. Port Adelaide will be battling the Swans' superior forward stocks on Saturday, with first-choice forwards Charlie Dixon, Justin Westhoff, Jay Schulz and Robbie Gray all out of the side.

FINAL WORD
A great learning challenge for the Power's new players.
