JARMAN IMPEY has been offered a financial sanction for wrestling with Dustin Martin, but Hamish Hartlett has no case to answer for a headbutt on Jacob Townsend.
Those are the findings of the AFL Match Review Panel released in a statement on Monday afternoon.
Impey and Martin were both charged with wrestling during the third quarter, and were each offered $1500 sanctions reduced to $1000 with an early guilty plea.
Hartlett was seen to press his head against Townsend’s while the pair were on the ground during the third quarter of Thursday’s 48-point win, however the panel deemed the contact to have used force “below that required to constitute a reportable offence.
The charges leave both Impey and Hartlett free to face St Kilda in the AFL Opening Round at the Adelaide Oval on Easter Sunday.
Port Adelaide hosts St Kilda in the AFL's Opening Round on Easter Sunday 27 March with what should be a near full-strength side.
