JACKSON TRENGOVE won’t play against Richmond on Saturday night after accepting a one-match ban for intentionally striking Joel Selwood.
Six other Power players accepted financial sanctions as well.
Robbie Gray (rough conduct) and melee participants Trengove, Jimmy Toumpas, Travis Boak, Cam O’Shea, Hamish Hartlett and Jasper Pittard will pay a combined $9,000 to the AFL following the Geelong match.
Rance scratched from Tiger clash
Richmond’s Alex Rance also accepted a two-game suspension for striking Melbourne's Jack Watts on Sunday.
It means he will miss the clash against the Power.
Port Adelaide plays the Tigers at the MCG at 7.25pm on Saturday 30 April (AEST)
