SOME big news came out of the Port Adelaide camp today.
Power player Brad Ebert today revealed the club’s infamous, football-playing, steak-tasting group - the Medium Rares – have disbanded.
But not all’s lost…
They’ve re-emerged as Port Adelaide’s premier smoothie critic crew…the Smooth Bananas.
Brad broke the news this morning while speaking with Hit 107’s Cat and Amos.
“I’ve joined a group, it’s with a few of the boys at the club. Initially we were the Medium Rares – we used to go out and taste all the steaks around town,” he explained.
“Now…we’re the smooth bananas.”
Consisting of Tom Jonas, Matt Lobbe, Matt White, Kane Mitchell, Aaron Young and Brad, the Smooth Bananas will be heading around Adelaide sampling banana smoothies, to uncover Adelaide’s best.
Keeping with the Medium Rares tradition, they’ll be inviting a special guest along each week to make an appearance with the crew.
Could Robbie Gray be next? He does love a banana sandwich before a game….
