STUNG by the late loss to Carlton, Port Adelaide needs to butter up on its home turf against an Eagles side yet to win on the road.

West Coast goes into Saturday afternoon's clash with the Power unchanged. Yes, Josh Kennedy is set to play, having taken an afternoon flight from Perth to Adelaide late on Friday.

The Power has made one change - again - bringing Robbie Gray in to replace Brendon Ah Chee.

SEE HOW THEY'LL LINE UP

Can they do it?

Both sides have big question marks blotted over their names heading into this match. Can West Coast win away from home? Are the Power able to turn their season around?

Focussing on Port, there is plenty of reason to suggest it has the potential to still be a force in 2016. We know they can win the ball, get it inside 50 and kick big scores. What we've also seen is its unfortunate habit of surrendering possession and squander obvious opportunity in front of goal.

The last time they met...

The Power went down under lights at the Adelaide Oval. Try as they might, they simply couldn't catch a consistent West Coast which was building towards a grand final berth. Port didn't move the ball well that night, and perhaps it was a sign of things to come that year.

Saturday night would be a great time to right the ship in 2016 too.

Gray skies ahead

Gray brings class around stoppages and running forward. He can kick goals. He can do it all.

As much as the supporter base will be relishing the chance to see the dual All-Australian and Port Adelaide best-and-fairest in action on Saturday, he is returning from a three-week lay off with a hamstring injury, so he'll be keen to feel his way back into the game first.

That means the Power's forward line and midfield supply needs to be on song across the board tonight.

The Final Word

Port's use has been poor. It needs to fix that now if its season is to stay alive.
