JAKE NEADE will remain at Port Adelaide until at least the end of 2018 after signing a two-year contract extension.
The 22-year-old debuted in Round 1, 2013 and has clocked 47 games since. He is scheduled to play his 50th AFL game against North Melbourne in Round 17.
He’s filled the vacant pressure forward role of Angus Monfries this season and has enjoyed solid form for several weeks.
Securing his signature keep a high-pressure player in the Port Adelaide stable and Neade, originally from Elliott in the remote Northern Territory, is happy to stay.
“It’s a very proud moment for me,” Neade said.
“I’m really looking forward to attacking the second half of this year and it’s great to know my future is here too.”
Neade's contract comes on the back of recent extensions for Matt White and Aaron Young who will remain with the Power until at least the end of next season.
