MATTHEW LOBBE, Will Snelling and Matt White are scheduled to return next week when Port Adelaide plays North Melbourne and the SANFL Eagles.
It’s a significant boost for Port, which has been without a dedicated ruckman in the AFL since Lobbe went down with a PCL injury in Round 6.
Rookie midfielder Snelling will return from a long-term foot complaint, while White will also make his long-awaited return from a pectoral injury.
White went down in the opening term against St Kilda – way back in Round 1 – and has spent almost the entirety of the season in rehab.
With no injuries reported from either of its wins last weekend, the Power should go into Thursday night’s clash with Hawthorn unchanged.
Jack Hombsch will have scans on Monday to determine the extent of a quad injury suffered before his anticipated return last week.
He is not expected to play against the Hawks.
Port Adelaide plays Hawthorn at 7.20pm on Thursday 7 July at the Adelaide Oval, before travelling to Richmond Oval to play West Adelaide in the SANFL on Saturday 9 July.
