DEFENDER Matthew Broadbent will miss this Sunday’s clash in Perth with an ankle issue.

While originally being named as full back for the Power against West Coast, Broadbent will sit the game out as a precautionary measure, according to general manager of football Chris Davies.

“Broady had an ankle issue heading into last week’s game but was able to play,” Davies said.

“Often with those sort of injuries the week after is a bit tougher and he wasn’t able to get through training today (Friday) so we’ve decided not to take any risks.”

Brett Eddy comes into the 25-man squad as a result of the late change.

This squad will be trimmed to 22, with the final side to be announced at 4.30pm ACST today.
