IT’S been a busy start to the club’s 2017 promotional tour in China, headlined by a series of exciting business events for the Port Adelaide delegation.
The tour kicked off on Friday, with Port Adelaide executives heading to Hong Kong to attend the prestigious Austcham Breakfast at the Hong Kong Club.

An afternoon lunch at the home of the Australian Consul General to Hong Kong Michaela Browning followed, before heading to Shanghai for the inaugural two-day Austcham Sports Summit.

Port Adelaide’s General Manager of China Engagement Andrew Hunter also featured in an on-stage panel discussion about sports diplomacy.

Other large sporting organisations including Tennis Australia, AC Milan and UFC were in attendance at the summit, sharing information and ideas on approaching entry to the China market.
The 2017 promotional of China continues late into this week, as the delegation meets with various government and business leaders in Shanghai, as well as delivering Port Adelaide’s Power Footy Program in Chinese schools.
