AARON YOUNG has found a new home on the Gold Coast after being traded to the Suns.
Young becomes a Sun in return for the future fourth-round selection Gold Coast received as part of its trade for former Crow Harrison Wigg.
Port Adelaide List Manager Jason Cripps wished the 24-year-old the best for the next stage of his career.

“Understandably he’s seeking more senior opportunity. Gold Coast is able to offer that and although we see Aaron as a valuable member of our squad we wouldn’t stand in his way.”
Young says he can’t wait to get stuck into pre-season on the Gold Coast but is grateful for his seven years spent at Alberton.
“Port Adelaide was so welcoming when I came over from Melbourne as a teenager,” he said.
“I’ve had so many good times with my teammates, my coaches, the admin staff, the fans, Dad’s Army … I leave with great memories.
