They are encouraging all supporters – whether you wear black, white and teal, or red, yellow and blue – to donate a can of tuna at the designated purple donation bins located at the entrance and around the ground.
The donations will go a long way to helping more than 100,000 South Australians who are struggling to put food on the table this month.
Another fantastic initiative Foodbank SA has launched is their superhero program, which is designed to educate children on how to help those in need throughout our community.
The program aims to teach children to help others, to be humble, to get educated, and to reduce waste.
You can purchase your special superhero cape for $5 at the Foodbank SA stall located in the street fair. With every purchase, Foodbank will be able to put three meals on the table for the less fortunate.
