AS PORT ADELAIDE prepares to host Brisbane at Adelaide Oval in Round 3 of the 2018 AFL season, portadelaidefc.com.au takes a look back on the last clash between the sides.

Fresh off a 70-point defeat to Essendon, the Power bounced back with a 40-point win over the Lions, although the result probably belied the contest the visitors put up.

Brisbane trailed by just three points shortly before half time, with Dayne Zorko at his absolute best for the visitors.

Ollie Wines and Robbie Gray were outstanding with Wines picking up 29 touches and two goals and Gray 21 disposals and two majors as the home side slowly pulled away late in the game.

Paddy Ryder had a huge game in the ruck with 40 hit outs and two goals, while Chad Wingard chipped in with three goals of his own.
