SAM POWELL-PEPPER is this week’s Australian Outdoor Living Fans’ MVP for his fantastic contested performance against Gold Coast in Shanghai.
Powell-Pepper collected 26 disposals - 17 of those contested - seven clearances, 10 tackles and two goals in a dominant in-and-under display.
It was a 2018 breakout game for the 20-year-old in his second game back from a three-match lay off from the AFL side.

Skipper Travis Boak was also excellent in the Power’s scrappy 40-point win against the Suns, a performance that earnt him the Shanghai Medal - but second in the eyes of the fans.
Boak amassed 29 touches, eight clearances, six tackles, six inside 50s and a goal in a very good captain’s game.
Tom Rockliff, Ollie Wines and Darcy Byrne-Jones each had 26 possessions, while Tom Jonas had 16 touches, 10 marks and seven rebound 50s.
Chad Wingard and Sam Gray were the best of Port’s forward, with two goals a piece - a total which could’ve been higher if not for some missed opportunities in front of the big sticks.
