PORT ADELAIDE could take an unchanged line-up into Friday night’s match against Essendon, although midfielder Sam Powell-Pepper did his hopes of an AFL return no harm with an impressive showing in the SANFL on Sunday.
Powell-Pepper had a game-high 33 disposals and six marks while playing for the Magpies against Central District.
He also laid seven tackles and helped his side hit the scoreboard with six inside
Will Snelling continued his impressive form in the Magpies midfield with 29 disposals, three marks and a game-high ten tackles.
Jack Trengove and Jake Neade also showed signs that they should be considered, while first-year player Jake Patmore was also impressive with 19 touches and three goals.
Forward Lindsay Thomas might be an option if selectors look to change up the forward line while ruckman Billy Frampton has been a solid contributor and could be considered for an AFL debut after being an emergency last week.
The squad to face Essendon will be announced on Thursday evening.
