CLASSY Port Adelaide forward Robbie Gray has been picked in the 2018 Virgin Australia AFL All-Australian team, receiving the honour for a fourth time.
Gray received his All-Australian blazer on Wednesday night, bringing him equal with former captain Warren Tredrea as the club’s only four-time selection.
Tredrea was selected in four consecutive seasons from 2001 while Gray’s selection this year is his second in succession after also receiving the honour in 2014 and 2015.
Gray was picked at half forward after another outstanding year in which he won two Showdown medals and led the club’s goalkicking with 36 goals.
Left on 199 games after playing 21 in 2018, the 30-year-old had a career-high 10 tackles in Round 2 against Sydney, a career-best 39 disposals against Essendon in Round 4, and booted a career-high six goals against Adelaide in 2018.
Backman Tom Jonas, who was named in the 40-man All-Australian squad for the second time on Monday, will have to wait at least another year to be selected after missing out on the final team.
