PORT ADELAIDE has farewelled forward Jake Neade and midfielders Dom Barry and Will Snelling after informing them that their contracts would not be renewed for 2019.
The Power has also made another change to its list with rookie Dan Houston being upgraded to the senior list.
Neade, 24, has played 66 AFL games and kicked 55 goals since debuting for the Power in 2013.
A speedy pressure forward, he was selfless in his attack on the football and was popular among those associated with the club.
Barry arrived at Alberton in the 2017 AFL National Draft, given a second chance after five games with Melbourne and three years out of the AFL system.
The 24-year-old played five AFL games in 2018 averaging 15 disposals and capping a remarkable return to top-flight football.
Snelling came to Port Adelaide in the 2015 Rookie Draft and made his AFL debut in 2016 against the Gold Coast, but was not able to break back into the team.
A reliable and consistent performer at SANFL level, the 21-year-old won the Fos Williams Memorial Trophy as Port Adelaide’s most consistent performer and the A. R. McLean Medal as Port Adelaide’s best and fairest in the SANFL in 2018.
“Jake, Dom and Will have all contributed to the club in their own ways and I would like to thank them for their dedication,” said Port Adelaide General Manager - Football, Chris Davies.
“Unfortunately, we have reached the time of the year where we have to make tough decisions regarding the future of our list.
“We wish them all the best for the future.”
Houston played all 22 games in 2018 and won both the Gavin Wanganeen Award as the best player under 21 and the Coaches’ Award as the most improved.
He has now played 39 games since his debut in 2017.
