Background

The Cheer Squad Supporters Club is one of the most visible supporter groups of the Port Adelaide Football Club and also plays a very important role. Not only do they make the banner for each game, they lead the cheering at games and support the team both home and away. As an official group of the Port Adelaide Football Club they are also involved in fundraising for the club and also help out where ever possible. As a Cheer Squad Supporters Club member you will be invited to take part in a number of activities that will take you closer to the game.

The team’s run-through banner is made each week by the Port Adelaide Cheer Squad Supporters Club. All Cheer Squad Supporters Club members are welcome and encouraged to attend, even if it’s just for a small period of time. The people that hold the banner up on match days are selected from those who assist in the making of it (you must be over 13 to hold the banner up). The banner is made most Friday nights from 6pm at the Enfield Community Centre, 540 Regency Road at Enfield.

interstate matches

Members of the Cheer Squad Supporters Club go over to matches played interstate, some go to every game. By becoming a member they can also organize your tickets for you in the Cheer Squad bay and for most games in Melbourne they even charter their own luxury bus to get you there, so keep an eye out on this page for the next trip.
