Originally hailing from Western Australia, Sam Powell-Pepper has made a name for himself as a player with thirst for the ball, capable of devastating bursts when the Sherrin is in his hands. Playing primarily as a high pressure forward, Powell-Pepper has found his spot on the ground and makes it his own - playing hard, consistent football.
Although his 2024 season was cut short after suffering an ACL, the bullish forward’s toughness and ‘never give up’ approach to the game has not been forgotten by the Port Adelaide faithful.
A popular playing group member, Powell-Pepper was elevated to the leadership group in 2023 and has used his time off the field to develop his leadership skills. He enters 2024 with a fresh hunger for the game, ready to once again make his signature impact on-field.

The Port Adelaide Football Club acknowledges the land on which we train and play, are based on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
