Port Adelaide vice-captain Hamish Hartlett took on an unfamiliar role in 2020 as ‘Mr Durable’ at Alberton, playing all 19 games for season. His best return in a season since 2017 and first full season since the 2015 campaign.
As he enters his 30s, the future of Port Adelaide’s midfield no longer sits on Hartlett’s shoulders and he looks more at home than ever as a sweeping distributor and seasoned head directing traffic in Port Adelaide’s high-sitting defensive press.
He also took on the important role as Team Drummer during the Power’s unique post-game celebrations throughout the year.
Club Honours
- Gavin Wanganeen Medal (2011)
- Peter Badcoe Medal (2013)
- Showdown Medal (2014)
- Vice-captain (2016, 2019, 2020)
- Life Member (2018)

The Port Adelaide Football Club acknowledges the land on which we train and play, are based on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
