A strong inside midfielder, Brownlow Medallist Ollie Wines possesses elite on-ball skills and exceptional endurance that is rarely matched. Wines’ physical pressure and high tackle rate make him a defensive beast, but it’s his vision and football IQ that makes his presence so damaging.
Wines is one of Port Adelaide’s most experienced operators and leads from the front in his performance, attitude and respect for his teammates. Operating in tandem with the side's young core - Zak Butters, Connor Rozee, Willem Drew and Jason Horne-Francis, the 30-year-old plays an important role in Port Adelaide's midfield.
He averaged an important 23.5 disposals and five clearances a game in 2024, and will look to carry his strong form into the 2025 season and beyond.

The Port Adelaide Football Club acknowledges the land on which we train and play, are based on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
