PAUL Stewart has been ruled out for the remainder of 2011 following a scan on his injured shoulder.

Stewart was omitted from the Power side after Round 7, playing in the local SANFL competition for Woodville-West Torrens in the week that the Power travelled to face the Swans.

Following scans, it's been determined that Stewart's injured right shoulder will require a reconstruction, with the tall midfielder / defender due to have surgery in the coming days, ruling him out of the side for the rest of the year.
