CHAD WINGARD and Sam Powell-Pepper have both been fined for careless contact with an umpire in Saturday's 21-point victory over Carlton at the MCG.

The incidents were assessed by Match Review Officer Michael Christian:

Chad Wingard, Port Adelaide, has been charged with making careless contact with umpire Rob O’Gorman during the second quarter of the Round 15 match between Port Adelaide and Carlton, played at the MCG on Saturday June 30, 2018.

In summary, he can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.

Making careless contact with an umpire is a fixed financial sanction of $1500. The player can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.
