A TINY milestone passed on Tuesday when Aidyn Johnson was taken at the draft, with the Bendigo Pioneer becoming the first player listed by the Power to be born after its inaugural AFL match.

That game, against Collingwood at the MCG, was on 29 March 1997. 

Johnson, added to the Power's list via pick 45 in Tuesday's national draft, was born on October 31.

He is now also the youngest player on the Power's list for 2016.

Will Snelling (6/8/1997) and Dan Houston (12/05/1997) were also born after the Power's first game against Collingwood and are older than Johnson, but were only added to Port's list via the rookie draft on Friday.

Cameron Hewett (26/2/1997) was born two days before the Power's first pre-season cup game against Fremantle, while Riley Bonner (7/3/1997) was born one week after.
