HAWTHORN’s Tom Mitchell has continued his remarkable season to extend his lead at the top of the AFL Fantasy
Mitchell scored a league-high 157 AFL Fantasy points, remarkably 31.2 points higher than his season average which is already an extraordinary 125.8.
The Brownlow Medal fancy had 43 disposals and seven marks, to go with seven tackles and a goal.
Because of
Mitchell is the first player this season to clock up 2000 total points, and his overall lead has stretched out to 135 after the next best, Collingwood’s Brody Grundy scored just 68 points.
At Port Adelaide, vice-captain Ollie Wines was the only player to pass 100 points in the Power’s disappointing loss to Fremantle.
Justin Westhoff fell just short of the 100-point threshold but still remains his side’s highest scorer.

Despite scoring 94 points – eight short of his season average - Port Adelaide’s most expensive player still managed to add $1,000 to his value.
Still ranked thirteenth in the league, down two positions on last week, the evergreen utility has now gained a total of $95,000 in value since the start of the season.
35,064 AFL Fantasy Coaches have realised his abilities, a modest increase on last week’s number.
Chad Wingard (mid/fwd - $609,000)
Averaging a handy 103.8 points in his last six games, Wingard fell short with 97 against the Dockers.
Playing on the ball again, he had 24 disposals and six tackles as well as slotting two vital goals on a low-scoring afternoon.
Wingard’s overall value has dropped by $40,000 since the start of the year, but he has slowly recouped value, including $16,000 with his performance against the Dockers, taking him over the $600,00 price barrier.
AFL Fantasy Coaches seem to be liking his ability to play on the ball and up forward with 16,749 including him in their squads.
Sam Powell-Pepper (mid - $558,000)
Another $4,000 increase in value for the tackling machine sees him up amongst the most expensive at Port Adelaide, despite his slow start to the season.
The hard-nosed 20-year-old added just two tackles to his impressive season tally, but he did have 28 disposals, three marks and a goal.

Still not all that popular with AFL Fantasy coaches with only 2867 including him in their teams.
Ollie Wines (mid - $658,000)
Averaging 95.1 AFL Fantasy points this season, Wines managed 118 against Fremantle on Sunday but still lost value.
The Power’s second-most expensive player lost $4,000 in value to make is a $45,000 loss since the start of the season.
After racking up 30 disposals, four marks and seven tackles against the Dockers, Wines might present reasonable value at his current price, especially if he can carry that form forward.
Favoured by just over 8,000 AFL Fantasy coaches, Wines might present a point of difference for squads seeking reliable and usually high scoring midfielders.
Jared Polec (mid - $576,000)
Averaging 92.6 points this season, Polec has been extremely consistent all year, even scoring 93 points against the Dockers.
He managed 26 touches, seven marks and one tackle in Perth and he missed a golden chance to add a goal to his name as well.
The 25-year-old is great value at just $6,220 per point scored, nearly $1,000 cheaper per point than Chad Wingard.
It was a disappointing 100th game for Polec, and he remains one of the less popular Power players with AFL Fantasy coaches, appearing in just 2657 teams.
