IN: Sinn, Skinner
OUT: Aliir, Gray
PORT ADELAIDE has named two debutants for the second week in a row with first-round draftee Josh Sinn and defender Sam Skinner to play their first games for the club against Hawthorn on Saturday night.
Sinn will be making his AFL debut, having arrived at Alberton with the 12th pick in last year’s National Draft.
The Sandringham Dragons product has impressed with his work ethic, speed and penetrating left foot.
Skinner came to Port Adelaide as a delisted free agent having played three AFL games in five injury interrupted seasons with Brisbane.
The 24-year-old key position player will replace the injured Aliir Aliir in defence after the All-Australian had surgery to repair his syndesmosis this week.
Robbie Gray has also dropped out of the side with a knee injury, while Jackson Mead has been omitted.
Mead, Sam Mayes, Jed McEntee and Trent Dumont have been named as emergencies.
The medical substitute will be named from the emergency list before the first bounce.
The game against the Hawks at Adelaide Oval will be a special occasion as the club pays tribute to the late Russell Ebert.
Among a host of tributes, players will wear a special guernsey when the game gets underway at 7:10pm local time and they will be auctioned off to raise funds for charity Novita.
