THE MARCH is back!
Not that it really went anywhere, but like Port Adelaide footy generally, it hasn't been anywhere near Adelaide Oval since 6 May.
That was the last time we played in the city, and on Thursday night we storm back in to take on the Hawks in a Thursday night thriller.
The March is that first big kick to get you up and about for the night, and a fantastic opportunity to warm your vocal chords for a big game.
So swing by the corner of North Terrace and King William Road (outside the Governor's house) at 5.30pm on Thursday night and mingle with your fellow Port fans for a march to the ground.
Port Adelaide's membership manager and March leader Benny Demertzis is very excited about the return of this popular pre-game ritual.
"Port Adelaide supporters are the best marchers - the best - nobody marches like we do," Benny says.
"The Renegades band a really great too, so there will be plenty of music to help you get to the ground on Thursday night.
"We can't wait to see our fans turn out to paint the CBD in black, white and teal before this big game."
