PORT ADELAIDE forward Robbie Gray will need to pass the concussion protocol to be considered for selection for Sunday afternoon’s clash against Greater Western Sydney.
Gray was taken from the field in the third quarter of yesterday’s loss to Fremantle after being knocked unconscious in a tackle in which he hit his head on the ground.
The 30-year-old returned to Adelaide with the team on Monday afternoon and will be monitored through the week.
Ruckman Paddy Ryder will undergo scans to determine the full extent of an injury to his hip flexor.
Ryder sat out the second half of the game in Perth and is expected to miss Sunday’s match at a minimum.
Young forward Todd Marshall will also undergo scans after spraining his ankle in the SANFL on Sunday afternoon.
