IN: Burgoyne, Byrne-Jones, Clurey, Fantasia, Gray

OUT: Bonner (injured)

PORT ADELAIDE has one confirmed change and a host of experience added to its squad for Sunday’s big game against Fremantle.

Defender Riley Bonner has dropped out of the side which beat the Gold Coast last weekend after having surgery on his fractured cheekbone and eye socket.

Among the extended squad named to tackle the Dockers are experienced defenders Darcy Byrne-Jones and Tom Clurey who have each cleared a stint under the AFL’s health and safety protocols.

Classy forwards Robbie Gray and Orazio Fantasia have been included - the former after being rested for two weeks and the latter after making his return from injury in the SANFL last weekend.

Father-son Jase Burgoyne has also been named on an extended interchange bench, and would be making his AFL debut if he keeps his spot in the final side. Burgoyne is the son of 2004 Premiership player Peter Burgoyne.

The team will be trimmed to 22 and emergencies on Friday afternoon.

Sunday afternoon’s game at Optus Stadium gets underway at 3:20pm AWST / 4:50pm ACST.

The game will be Aliir Aliir’s 100th at AFL level.
