To kick off the 2012 NAB Cup and our AFL season, the Port Adelaide Football Club hosted a number of old and new friends from the business world in SuiteOne - our premium corporate facility at AAMI Stadium.

Among those attending on Sunday 26 February were corporate representatives from organisations which have become recently involved with the club through to those who have supported Port Adelaide since its entry into the AFL in 1997.

Bill Vis, founder of our new Joint Major Partner V.I.P. Home Services, was present along with several unsung long-term supporters of the club, including Leckie Gerai of Tarlee Carpets and Wynn Cook from Portside Office National.

Collectively, these names account for over 60 years of financial support and collaboration with the Port Adelaide Football Club - including some of our proudest successes in the AFL and SANFL.

As the Power ran out in its first competitive match for 2012, we were proud to recognise our 10 and 15-year Power Brokers by presenting plaques acknowledging their significant and ongoing contribution to the club.

The event was attended by Port Adelaide chief executive officer Keith Thomas, general manager - football Peter Rohde and several players from the Power squad. Promising ruckman Matt Lobbe addressed our corporate friends about his experience at the club and his looming return from hip surgery early in the 2012 season.

The Port Adelaide Football Club has been built on many years of team work, commitment and passion, and we are proud to share these values with our many hard working corporate supporters.

SuiteOne is a great venue at any time and it was particularly special to share our club's early victory over Carlton with friends who continue to make the Port Adelaide Football Club the ever-growing Power that it is!
