PORT ADELAIDE expects midfielder Travis Boak to be available to face Richmond on Saturday night despite the 34-year-old suffering a fracture in his left hand.
Boak hurt his hand during the second quarter of the weekend’s loss to Collingwood but was able to play out the match, and will be monitored throughout the week with an expectation that he will be able to take on the Tigers.
Similarly, Darcy Byrne-Jones is expected to be able to play despite suffering a sprained right ankle in the first half of Saturday’s game.
Riley Bonner will clear the AFL Health and Safety protocols and should also be available, while fellow defender Dan Houston is recovering well following the concussion he had after the Round 19 game against Geelong and will clear the mandatory 12-day rest period on Thursday with a view to returning this week.
Port Adelaide will on Thursday evening name its side to face Richmond at Adelaide Oval.
