FORWARDS Todd Marshall and Mitch Georgiades have been included in Port Adelaide’s extended 26-man squad for Sunday’s meeting with Essendon.
Marshall missed the loss to Richmond while isolating under the health and safety protocols, while Georgiades booted 2.2 from 15 disposals in the SANFL last weekend to make his case for an immediate recall to the AFL line-up.
Also named among the squad is last week’s unused medical substitute Riley Bonner alongside Trent Dumont and Jackson Mead who each performed strongly in the SANFL loss to Sturt.
Among the confirmed changes, ruckman Brynn Teakle has been omitted and experienced forward Robbie Gray will miss the game as he is being managed.
The interim side will be finalised on Friday afternoon when the match-day 22 and emergencies will be named.
Port Adelaide has won its past four games against Essendon including their most recent meeting at Marvel Stadium in 2019 by 59 points.
