PORT Adelaide faces at least two changes to the side set to travel to Brisbane to take on the undefeated Lions on Saturday night.
Jack Watts and Karl Amon will both come out of the team that defeated the Blues with respective leg/ankle and knee injuries seeing them both face stints on the sideline.
Vice-captain Hamish Hartlett is in doubt to make his AFL return after pulling up tight in his right hamstring following the Magpies’ win over West Adelaide on Friday night. He was managed at training on Tuesday and will be assessed in the coming days to determine if he is fit for selection.
Co-captain Ollie Wines, on the other hand, is a strong chance to make his return after recovering from an off-season shoulder injury. The midfielder successfully completed full training this week and if deemed fit to play will be in line to play his first game as co-captain alongside Tom Jonas.
Jack Trengove and Sam Gray both impressed in Port Adelaide’s SANFL Round 1 win over West Adelaide on Friday night, and could get the call up to the Power’s Round 3 side. Trengove led the charge in that game with 44 disposals, 11 tackles and a goal, while Gray was influential up forward, putting 4 goals on the board along with his 34 touches.
Dougal Howard and Matthew Broadbent could also be a chance to return to the AFL side to cover the loss of Jack Watts in the backline.
The Power will announce its Round 3 side to take on Brisbane on Thursday evening.
