Port Adelaide would like thank Liz McGrath for her contribution in its inaugural AFLW season.
The club has informed McGrath that she will not be receiving a playing contract in 2023.
McGrath joined the club from North Melbourne in the VFLW bringing height to the side and filling a required ruck position.
List manager Naomi Maidment thanked McGrath for her commitment to Port Adelaide this season.
“We are grateful to Liz for relocating to South Australia to join Port Adelaide shortly before pre-season began,” Maidment said.
“Liz brought enthusiasm and energy to the group and we wish her all the best for what comes next.”
AFLW trade period and Draft dates for Season 8 have not been confirmed, with a new collective bargaining agreement yet to be negotiated for 2023 and beyond.
