Port Adelaide extends its thanks to Britt Perry and Tessa Doumanis for their contributions to the club’s inaugural AFLW campaign.
The club has informed both players that they will not be offered contracts for AFLW Season 8.
Since joining the Power, Doumanis was given the opportunity to make her AFLW debut and Perry was able to return home to Adelaide from the Gold Coast.
Playing eight games in black, white and teal between them, list manager Naomi Maidment thanked the pair for their service to the club.
“These are never easy decisions to make, especially as Britt and Tessa are great people and talented footballers,” Maidment said.
“We are grateful to have had them at Port Adelaide and they will always hold a special place at the club as members of our inaugural list.
“We wish them all the best for the next chapter.”
Port Adelaide will expand its list throughout the AFLW priority signing period, which runs from March 1 to March 8, and the sign and trade period from March 10 to March 20.
