All clear from match review panel
Three Power incidents came under scrutiny, but all were cleared.
The AFL match review panel released the following assessment of the incidents on Monday afternoon…
Contact between Port Adelaide's Daniel Motlop and the Western Bulldogs' Dylan Addison from the fourth quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. It was the view of the panel that contact was made to Addison's left shoulder and chest. Contact was not considered unreasonable in the circumstances. No further action was taken.
Contact between Port Adelaide's Daniel Motlop and the Western Bulldogs' Daniel Cross from the fourth quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. No contact was made to the head by Motlop. The force of the contact to the right shoulder and back region was below that required to constitute a reportable offence in the view of the panel. No further action was taken.
Contact between Port Adelaide's Danyle Pearce and the Western Bulldogs' Brad Johnson from the fourth quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. Pearce brushed the side of Johnson's face with an open hand. The impact was below that required to constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken.
