PORT ADELAIDE will take on Adelaide in a SANFL Showdown at Adelaide Oval this Saturday, in a curtain-raiser to the AFL Showdown.

A strong selected side sees 15 AFL-listed players and six SANFL-listed players named for the SANFL opening round, with the group once again led by captain Cam Sutcliffe.

Multiple players are set to make their official debuts in the black-and-white, including draftees Tom Scully, Tom McCallum and Kyle Marshall, plus Geelong recruit Francis Evans.

Among the remaining selected players yet to debut are West Australian Jed Hagan, father-son Will Francou and Sturt junior Hugh Ferrari.

Orazio Fantasia, Brynn Teakle, Jase Burgoyne and Jackson Mead have been named AFL emergencies, with those that aren’t required expected to feature for the Magpies.

The game begins at 3:10pm at Adelaide Oval, with a valid AFL Showdown ticket or Port Adelaide game access membership required for entry.

All SANFL league matches will be live-streamed in 2023 at AFL.com.au and the AFL Live Official App as part of an exciting new partnership announced on Monday.
