Kyle Marshall (left) has accepted a two-game ban.

PORT ADELAIDE defender Kyle Marshall will miss his side’s trip to Loxton to face West Adelaide after being handed a two-game ban by the SANFL’s match review.

Marshall was cited for forceful front on contact with Sturt’s Charlie Parker at Wigan Oval at Unley on Sunday.

The incident was graded as careless conduct with high contact and of high impact.

While the base sanction is a three-game suspension, Marshall has accepted a two-game ban with an early guilty plea.

West Adelaide’s Luke Redfern is free to play in the Russell Ebert tribute match on Sunday for a similar incident involving South Adelaide’s Oliver Davis.

His forceful high contact charge was graded as careless with high contact but of low impact so with an early guilty plea, he can accept a $125 fine and reprimand.
