TALENTED youngster Jason Horne-Francis has been voted the Fans' MG MVP for Round 7 in recognition of his influential performance against St Kilda.
It was a see-sawing affair that eventually saw the Power take down the ladder-leaders, giving the Melbourne-based and travelling Port Adelaide faithful plenty to cheer about at Marvel Stadium.
In his best performance for Port Adelaide to date, Horne-Francis racked up 25 disposals (18 contested), 11 clearances and seven tackles to go along with seven inside 50s and an impressive 468 metres gained.
His explosiveness in the contest caught the eye of both the Port Adelaide fans and the AFL world, with the young star lauded for stepping up and taking control against some of the leagues' toughest competition.
He earns the maximum five votes for the second time this season, moving up to fourth on the MG MVP Leaderboard.
Claiming second place in the fan vote was the ever-consistent Travis Boak.
Boak's 30 touches, six tackles and first-quarter goal rounded out a productive night on the park for the classy veteran.
Bringing an equal measure of spark and composure in critical moments of the match, the 333-gamer was key to Port Adelaide victory - helping to shift the win-loss ledger to 5-2 heading into Round 8.
Rounding out the votes this week were Sam Powell-Pepper (3rd), Jeremy Finlayson (4th) and Miles Bergman (5th).
Port Adelaide now enjoy a well-deserved 9-day break before hosting an in-form Essendon outfit at Adelaide Oval. Tickets are still available.
