The meeting established the following in relation to the review:
• The structure and operational arrangements of the review committee
• The timeframe the review will take to complete
• The core objectives and guiding principles of the review
Port Adelaide chief executive Keith Thomas said today’s meeting was about establishing a framework and an agenda for the committee to work towards.
“Today’s meeting was robust but also very collaborative and the committee is committed to putting a lot of time and energy into ensuring we reach a result that is a fair outcome for all parties concerned,” Mr Thomas said.
“No outcomes were reached today. Although there is clearly a lot of work ahead of the committee we are all focussed on reaching an outcome in a timely manner that suits all parties.”
Port Adelaide will not provide a running commentary on the financial model review and will make no further comment at this stage.
