PORT ADELAIDE will play Glenelg in the final round of the IGA League season in a Saturday afternoon encounter at the bay.

The match will be held on Saturday 23 August - the day after Port Adelaide's final AFL home game against Carlton - at 2:10pm.

Depending on the fall of results in Round 17, the outcome of that match could determine whether the Magpies secure the minor premiership.

The SANFL has programmed another 'Super Saturday' of games, with all matches excluding the Redlegs v Crows match starting at the traditional 2:10pm time slot.

Norwood will host the Crows at the Parade at 4:40pm.

The League has also confirmed the scheduling for the first week of finals.

To be held at the Adelaide Oval on Saturday 30 August, two twilight finals will be held in a unique format which will see the qualifying final between the second and third-ranked teams played before the sudden-death match.

The qualifying final will commence at 4:40pm before the elimination final at 7:40pm.

The scheduling ensures all teams competing in finals will be given equal rest in preparation for the first weekend of finals matches.
